Senior Officer (Finance)
Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (“MMS”) is a joint venture company responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to Royal Brunei Navy (“RBN”) vessels and dockyard infrastructure. We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:
Senior Officer (Finance)
The role is primarily responsible for the finance function. The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing the financial operations within the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role includes managing financial reporting, budgeting and analysis as well as collaborating with various departments to ensure effective financial planning, supervises accounting staff, and plays a key role in audits and financial risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and present accurate and timely financial statement, reports and analyses to finance managers
and Stakeholders. - Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making including variance analysis and profitable
assessments. - Ensure compliance with financial regulation and IFRS standards including tax laws and internal policies.
- Overseas cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed to support the organization
operations. - Supervise, mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high -performance work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree in accounting or equivalent degree or affiliate ACCA member.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience as senior officer role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedure which is full understanding of accruals accounting and impacts
of entries on financial statements. - Strong management accounting skills.
- Able to collect, organize, analyses and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to
detail and accuracy. - Excellent computer skills especially excel, be accurate and organized.
- Creativity and process the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam.

Officer (Health,Safety & Environment)

We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:
Officer (Health,Safety & Environment)
Accountable to Senior Officer / Senior Engineer for implementation and monitoring the company QHSE compliance with statuary, stakeholder requirements and Safety Management System (SMS) in timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, and advising on risks arising from the workplace or work
processes. - Recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementation of the
measures. - Responsible for preventing or reducing health and environmental risks and improving quality of processes.
- Contributing to maintaining and development of HSE and Programs.
- Support to develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environment policies, procedures and
program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Conduct regular inspection and audits of workplace facilities, equipment and processes to identify
hazards, risks and non-compliances issues. - Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry groups and external stakeholders on HSE matters and represent
the company in HSE related meetings. - Conduct risk assessments and safety audits of subcontractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure
compliance with HSE requirements and expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety & environmental or any related field.
- Obtained NEBOSH or IOSH Certification.
- Registered as Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) officer.
- Working in HSE related field minimum of 1 to 3 years experienced.
- Literate in Microsoft office skills.
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam

Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)
Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (“MMS”) is a joint venture company responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to Royal Brunei Navy (“RBN”) vessels and dockyard infrastructure. We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)
Working in a small team conducting various marine based mechanical repairs and maintenance for the mechanical workshop department which include maintenance of ICPE, transmissions, shafting & CPP systems, prime movers for gensets, salts & freshwater pump system, hydraulic oil & pump, refrigeration & aircon system and anchor windless & windless winch system.
Responsibilities:
- Corrective maintenance: Inspect, identify, repair and finish equipment defects as per work instruction.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per Job Instruction Card.
- Flow test for respiratory equipment as per OEM standard.
- Follow recommended procedures for cleaning safe respiratory equipment.
- Orders, receives, and issues SCBA components; if work with vendors; performs inventory checks,
coordinates warranty repairs of services and all documents/certificate required by applicable codes of
practices. - Perform maintenance according to Safety procedures and precautions necessary for the proper operation
and repair of specialized testing equipment, B.A compressors and SCBAs. - Perform cylinder air refilling accordance to air safe quality standard codes.
- Conduct yearly inspection
- Create evaluation of service maintenance report.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of HNTEC mechanical Engineering.
- (1) one to 2 (two) years’ experience in mechanical background.
- Must be citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam.

Assistant Engineer (Breathing Apparatus)
Muara Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (“MMS”) is a joint venture company responsible for providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO) to Royal Brunei Navy (“RBN”) vessels and dockyard infrastructure. We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:
Assistant Engineer (Breathing Apparatus)
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for coordinating the B.A workshop department for assisting all given designated maintenance and assigned specialized project and repair work carried out with timely completion and according to the standards required. In addition, this role also responsible in preventive and corrective maintenance and completing repairs including inspection, stripping, rebuilt and recertification of (i) Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (Draeger SCBA) firefighting equipment and (ii) Emergency Life Saving Apparatus (Scott Safety ELSA 15-B) for vessels and base.
Responsibilities:
